Suntech Power announced that it has supplied solar panels for two solar power plants in central California. Built and engineered by Cupertino Electric, Inc.'s (CEI) Energy Alternatives Division, the 20MW (AC) and 15MW (AC) projects, located in Helm and Five Points, Calif., respectively, feature more than 150,000 of Suntech's multicrystalline solar panels for utility-scale electricity generation.

May 30 (Renewables Now) - China’s Wuxi Suntech Power Co Ltd will be supplying solar modules to Italian company Enerray SpA for a project in Aswan, Egypt, it was announced on Wednesday.

May 29 (Renewables Now) - French renewable power plants operator Voltalia SA (EPA:VLTSA) has agreed to buy up to 304 MW of photovoltaic (PV) panels from China’s Wuxi Suntech Power Co Ltd. The parties have signed a non-exclusive framework agreement that calls for Voltalia to purchase the equipment until June 2019, the French firm said on Monday.

Suntech Power Holdings Co. (STP) is supplying the photovoltaic modules for a 30 MW plant in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The solar power plant's construction is scheduled to be completed in August 2013.
